We purchase only the finest Arabica coffee beans from choice growers around the world, and we roast these premium beans daily at our Ottawa roasting facility. Many of our coffees are Fair Trade.

Roasting coffee beans is part science and part art. At Montana, we give you the best of both worlds — our meticulous roasting and testing practices are complemented by an artisan coffee approach. All coffee is roasted under the supervision of our Master Roaster, assuring you of the best tasting and freshest coffee available.

Our wide selection of custom blended and freshly roasted coffee awaits you.

Whatever coffee you buy, follow these simple steps to brew the best possible coffee:
Start with fresh beans.

  • Keep beans in an airtight container
  • Store your beans in a dark, dry place. (Can be cool, but not the refrigerator or freezer.)
  • Grind just what you need, when you need it.

PRIVATE LABEL

"I take my coffee black, so it has to be exactly what I want it to be: fresh, rich, full and aromatic. And with Montana, it always is."

We provide custom coffee blending for Food Service clients. Led by Alex, our Master Roaster, our team is adept at developing distinct and flavourful blends tailored to your specifications.

Coffee is always roasted and packaged fresh. We can package your coffee (ground or beans) with a customized label in several different formats.

If you are a Retailers, Restaurants or Hotel find out how easily you could be selling your own brand of gourmet coffee.

If you are a Corporation or Associations, contact us to promote your own brand and treat clients/members to delicious coffee.

MIDDLE EASTERN

"I always try to serve my family the best quality food I can find, so I get my coffee beans at Montana."

Often referred to as Turkish coffee, this finely ground coffee requires a special burr mill. Middle Eastern coffee is ground much more finely (in fact, it is pretty much pulverized into a powder) and is prepared differently than other coffees. The grinds are boiled in water (often with sugar and sometimes cardamom) and then poured unfiltered into demitasse cups.

We regularly prepare a fine selection of specially ground coffee, some with added cardamom. If you enjoy the distinct pleasure of Middle Eastern coffee, you’ll appreciate Montana’s exceptionally fresh, finely ground coffee.
