Our Guatemala Huehuetenango coffee has a flavour profile that manages to balance all the flavour notes. Amplifying the sweet side if the cherry flavor and notes leaving notes of chocolate, this coffee bean leave a taste of baked spices and has a mild acidity. This coffee comes from Shiviwaka co-op in Tanzania which is one of the finest African coffees. The node is sweet vanilla and coconut with a hint of honeydew melon. The sweetness continues on the palate when the vanilla aroma is joined by the flavour notes of rich chocolate and melted butter. The body is delicate and silky, while the acidity is crisp and citrus-driven.

This coffee is from the island of Sumatra in Southeast Asia that seems to be ideally suited for growing Arabica coffee. The unique processing method (wet hulling) tends to give Sumatra coffee distinct characteristics. Besides the earthy tones, Sumatra is a full-body, low acidity coffee.

Often referred to as Turkish coffee, this finely ground coffee requires a special burr mill. Middle Eastern coffee is ground much more finely (in fact, it is pretty much pulverized into a powder) and is prepared differently than other coffees. The grinds are boiled in water (often with sugar and sometimes cardamom) and then poured unfiltered into demitasse cups. We regularly prepare a fine selection of specially ground coffee, some with added cardamom. If you enjoy the distinct pleasure of Middle Eastern coffee, you’ll appreciate Montana’s exceptionally fresh, finely ground coffee.
